D.NY 24/7/365

Through the culmination of a group of employees seeking to create new and engaging internal programming for Black History Month at Deutsch NY, we created D.NY 24/7/365. D.NY 24/7/365 is a diversity, equity, and inclusion program committed to celebrating people from all walks of life throughout the year at the agency. This programming would be organized by a planning committee that would highlight issues, showcase marginalized communities and bring forth more connection between those within the D.NY community.

We created a visual identity for the program that fits within the overall D.NY agency identity. Pulling from the color palette and typefaces to establish a changing lockup depending on what was the focus for programming. Many of the programs involved sending questionnaires out to the agency for those who identified with the community we were highlighting, and use their responses to create posters. Questions would be about their experiences, icons from that specific community, food recipes, NYC spots, media and resources to share with the D.NY community. We shared this content both in-office as well as on our slack channels so everyone at D.NY had an opportunity to see this content.

In addition, we also did interviews, speaking engagements, potlucks, game shows, drink-n-draws, and more that changed with every program. The planning committee would work to take into consideration what the agency as a whole wanted to see, and any suggestions for content from colleagues helped curate and create exciting programming that brought the community of D.NY closer even in our hybrid work environment.
